5. Then click on Jump to 1099misc (see screenshot below)
6. On the 1099-MISC summary screen, select Edit next to the Form 1099 that you wish to correct.
If you have another form of Miscellaneous Income reported on a form 1099-A or 1099-C or another form of Misc income, please follow these steps instead.
1. Sign into your online account and select Take me to your return.
2. Select Federal in the left side panel
3 Next select Income & Expenses at the top.
4. Scroll down to Less Common Income
5. Select Start/Revisit next to the appropriate section, follow the onscreen instructions to edit the entries.
There is no help button and if you do search, you get the phone number. If you hit update/revisit, all it lets you do is add income, not edit what was previously entered and needs fixed. I've tried this every way suggested, none of them are working as of today, 7-14-20. Is ridiculous and the hold time for the phone number is well over an hour, they're not saying exactly.
Where did you put the income? You have to revisit the same section and there are several different categories of miscellaneous income. The instructions above are for 1099-MISC forms only. Use the search feature at the top - the magnifying glass. Here are the different sections under Wages and Income - Less Common - -
1099-SA, HSA, MSA
Gambling Winnings
Alimony Received
Jury Duty
Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion
Child's Income (Under Age 24)
Sale of Home (gain or loss)

and finally Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C - and within this category, there are several more options, see below:
