We moved from VA to NC. Hubby still assigns referees in VA. Do we pay taxes on money earned after our move to VA or NC?

Is your husband going into VA to do this, or is he sitting at his desk in NC placing calls to VA-based referees?

Unless he is putting his feet on the ground in VA to earn his money, I would consider his earnings to be NC income.
