I filed a state return and federal with TaxAct but I have to amend my federal, but I'm confused as to what to enter, do i enter my 2020 AGI and deductions or from my 2021. That being said TurboTax has that info already. Can I file my federal tax with TurboTax or do i have to stick with TaxAct?

What year do you need to amend? You don't need a AGI to amend. Your post is confusing. Please explain more.
The IRS has not yet opened for tax filing. If you file two returns, the IRS will reject one of them. You can not do an amended return until after the original return is filed and finances are settled. You need to patiently wait for the IRS to open. If they reject the return you have already filed, you can just fix it and no amendment is necessary.
I need to amend my 2021 federal and the notice mentioned i had the incorrect AGI.
If you do amend your federal tax return, you should do it with the same software that you used to file the original return, TaxAct. The amended return uses the original return as a starting point. If you amend your return with TaxAct your original return is already there. To prepare an amended return with TurboTax, you would first have to recreate your original return in TurboTax, making sure that it exactly matches the return that you filed, then amend the recreated return.
Don't file an amended return until your first return has been processed and you have received the original refund.
My state return has been accepted, can i still file with TurboTax?
Ok. You don't need to amend. And it is too early to amend. The IRS hasn't even opened yet. Don't know how it could have rejected already. If your efile rejected you just fix it and resend it.
You posts still don't sound right. Your state return can not be accepted until the federal is accepted first.
This is only my second time filling taxes i didn't know about the time window. But i got a email from Taxact saying my state was accepted
The word "amend" has a special and very specific meaning in relation to tax returns. It does not mean making changes or adjustments to your entries. It means filing a special type of tax return to make changes to a return that was already filed, accepted, and processed by the IRS. If your e-file was rejected because the 2020 AGI was wrong, you do not amend it. You have nothing to amend because the original tax return has not been filed. You just correct the AGI and resubmit the tax return. That's not amending.
