filing just the state tax

i have filed my federal tax somewhere else and i want to know if i can still file just my state tax through turbo by mail? 

if not, how do i only file just the state tax?

Data from your Federal return flows to your State return, so you would have to prepare a Federal return in TurboTax in order to prepare your State Return.

You can print and mail in your State Return, but you'll have to purchase both Federal and State products.
