FICA and Medicaire.

My wife worked as a contractor and was paid in cash for 2016; she was given a MISC 1099 form for her yearly wages.  We are filing jointly, but I did not see any info on FICA or Medicare in the tax preparation.  Will this need to be added to the total we have to pay?  Thank you.

You have to report the cash as business income on Sch C and the program will automatically calculate those taxes.
