Federal return shows the correct address with word "Crossing" but CT tax return truncates that to "Xing" - Is there a fix?

the address line is carried over from federal to state and there is no way to fix incorrect auto correct for the word "Crossing" which got converted to "Xing".  HELP!!!!

The truncation will not actually affect your return. Neither the state nor the federal look at that many characters. The tax return is full of information and the actual federal and state programs shorten names even more than that. When we look at official documents, your last name is only 4 letters, just so many things are shortened.I know it feels frustrating but based on the characters allowed, it is better.

The USPS (post office) has a list of official abbreviations for street and town suffixes.

It lists the abbreviation for "Crossing" as "Xing".  So yes it is OK for Turbotax to do this.

The U.S. Postal Service is automated and relies on zip codes.   

State and Federal Treasury Departments rely on your social security number. 

If your zip code and Social security numbers are correct, you're fine.
