Estimated tax error

My tax returns appear to have applied 2018's state overpayment twice towads our 2019 estimated payments. What's the easiest way to figure out where I did that and see if affects federal taxes as well?

Estimated tax error

you can check your state's 2018 return.  it should show the overpayment applied.    you should try your state's website.  Most allow you to check the 2019 estimated tax payments and  the 2018 overpayment applied to 2019
