Does my CA state tax get paid automatically? It was subtracted from my return amount. I E-filed both, but previously had to pay my CA state taxes online.

I E-filed both my federal and CA state returns. When I got to the end, the amount I owe to the state was subtracted from my return, will it be paid to the state that way? I have always had to go to the CA website and pay online.

The Refund Processing Service is an option for paying your TurboTax product fees by deducting it only from your federal tax refund. This service does not deduct from state return. Also, your federal refund can not be used to pay your state balance due. You will need to pay for your CA state taxes online or via mail.
