Documents to include with Nonresident Ohio tax return

I will be filing a nonresident OH return for my college son.  TT printed a copy of his Federal 1040 with the OH documents.  Do I submit this with the OH return?  Do I need to print a copy of his CA return and submit it to OH?

TT Instructions indicate don't include extra documents, but Fed 1040 isn't listed

Yes, you must include the Federal return as well as the California return.  The California return is needed to show that he paid state taxes to another state.

Unfortunately all states are different.  I happen to live in Ohio
