I filed my Delaware state tax return electronically through turbo tax. I received a letter from the DE Division of Revenue stating they did not receive my 1099R and cannot complete my return. I paid intuit so I would not have to mail forms. Why did they not receive my 1099R forms?

Tax forms are only electronically filed to the IRS and state taxing agencies with the supporting information as entered from your 1099-R Forms.
The actual 1099-R forms cannot be electronically filed as part of your tax return. You would need to mail those in yourself as the option to upload forms for filing is not supported in the software.

Your response was not helpful at all, nor was it accurate. I did receive a response from the state. I paid $20 for something I could have done free. Very disappointed in Intuit and would not use again.
This reply is nonsense. I purchased the state return and turbotax said that they filled the return electronically and that the state accepted it. Nowhere in the turbotax instructions did it say that I needed to separately send in my W2s and 1099Rs. Only weeks later did the state inform me that my return was incomplete.
Why did I pay for this software only to have it *not* do what it said it would?
