What does this mean?
While holding a MN teaching license in K-12 Spanish, I went back to school to get my MA in Math Teaching. If I had a, for example, Algebra for Secondary education class, is that considered a pedagogy component and therefore I wouldn't qualify? If that's the case, what are some masters that would be considered for this credit?

To be eligible under the credit for a Master’s Degree in Teacher’s Licensure Field, a licensed elementary school teacher must pursue and complete a master's degree program in a core content area in which the teacher provides direct classroom instruction.
A core content area means the academic subject of reading, English or language arts, mathematics, science, foreign languages, civics and government, economics, arts, history, or geography.
This credit is only for those in a program that did not include a pedagogy or a pedagogy component, i.e. the credit is only applicable for those who earn a degree in the field they teach rather than a degree in education.
