Currently experiencing an error in the CF-1040 form (East Lansing) after electing to spread a COVID 401k distribution tax payment over the three year period. The CF-1040 is inputting the first year amount in the first field, and then deducting the total distribution amount in the second field, resulting in an overall negative total in the third field. This causes an error and inability to move forward.
Second issue - The Pension deduction worksheet currently gives a "we're working on this" message indicating it isn't yet ready to be submitted with our state taxes (Michigan). Is there any update on when these two issues will be fixed?

The engineers at Intuit are working hard to update this for Michigan as quickly as possible. But, there is not currently a date provided. Please keep checking for updates in your program.
You are correct, the CF-1040 will need to be updated to match what is being and will be reported on the federal return before paper-filing. The pension worksheet must also match the federal reporting since Michigan is one of the states that does conform to the federal government for the Early Distribution treatment.
Just to be clear, both these issues are planning on being resolved in the Turbo Tax program to allow e-filing? Or do we need to paper-file the state and CF-1040 as well as the Pension Deduction Worksheet?
