Capital gain for CA Non Resident

I am an non Resident of CA but own a rental property in CA. So I have to file CA tax return. Unlike last year,  Turbotax asks me to allocate capital gains on stocks where the companies are incorporated in CA such as Apple.

During last year tax return, Turbotax did not ask me to allocate stocks gain. Is this something new this year or there is an error in Turbotax program. As a result, it shows I have to pay CA tax but last year I did not require to pay anything.

Thanks

B Wong
