Cannot find this online, can the IRS garnish California state  EDD disability payments . Thank you.

Thank you very much, it does not appear the IRS can levy State disability payments from my reading. I know the State can. Maybe I'm missing something.

The IRS can garnish the bank account into which those disability payments are deposited.

The disability money is in a Bank of America debit card account authorized by the State.

Hint ... you have a BOA account on which a debit card is attached ... the IRS can lien that  bank account.
