CA Schedule S

I reside in CA full time and have rental properties in NC.  This year I owe $833 to NC, yet TT is only calculating a $44 credit to my Ca taxes through the Schedule S form.  What the heck am I missing here?

Check the entries for the credit for North Carolina taxes.

1. Go to Take a look at California credits and taxes
2. Fine Personal, home and family credits
3. Start/revisit Other State Tax Credit
4. Verify the income tax by California and the income taxed by North Carolina
5. Verify the income tax paid to North Carolina and the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) Taxed by North Carolina
