Although we were residents of our state for the entire year of 2019, we did not close a checking and a savings account we had held in another state, from which we had moved in 2018, until part way through 2019. That bank in the other state paid me some interest (not large amount) on our accounts there and sent us, to our address in our state of residence, the 1099-INT for both accounts. Do we have to file a tax return in that other state? I had indicated in TurboTax Premier that I had earned interest from a bank account in another state. So now TurboTax is making references to that other state. If I don't have to file a tax return in that other state, how do I "undo" that entry in TurboTax?
