AZ return rejected

I submitted AZ return on Friday, January 31 and it rejected due to a form they said wasn't quite ready.  I went back into Turbo Tax and refiled that return on Saturday, February 1.  It says it takes 24-48 hours for a response and I don't have anything and I'm now +72 hours.  Is there a way to find out where it is?  Feels like it is stuck in limbo....AZ Dept Revenue shows no record of the return arriving there.

To be clear, it was the Department of Revenue in Arizona that told you that the form was not ready, or TurboTax?

If your return was "rejected" by the state, then it is as if you never filed.

Also, what form are you talking about?

Thank you for your follow up questions!  I'm trying to file our AZ individual 140 return.  I checked the box in TT to be notified about my returns via text/email so I'm assuming it is TT who let me know it was rejected and TT status currently shows 'pending'.  From that same text number, I was notified my federal return was accepted.  I also received an email from TT that fed was accepted and that there was action needed on AZ

    What happened

AZ 2019 Business Expenses - Your Arizona return was rejected due to pending product updates relating to Business Expenses. This update has been released. Re-transmit the return.

I did as was directed above and then received an email stating that it was pending and I should hear in 24-48 hours.  And yes, AZ doesn't show its filed on their website so did assume its not filed.  Just not sure where it is and how long I wait for a follow up response from someone?  TT or AZ or?  Maybe the 24-48 doesn't count weekends?....Don't know what's going on 'behind the scenes' so I'm not sure exactly what to do.  Perhaps I'm impatient!  That wouldn't be a surprise.

I don't know if the State of Arizona or TurboTax gave you these messages.

But it sounds like you are doing the right thing. I would encourage you to give it another 2-3 days before sounding the alarm.
