AZ qualified charitable organization credit (321) carryover from 2023 not carrying over to 2024

I have a 2023 credit carryover for a QCO that is confirmed on the 2023 credit carryover worksheet.  However, apparently it didn't import to the 2024 return.  The actual numbers: 2023 eligible credit for MFJ is $841, actual contribution was $800, tax liability of $777, eligible carryover is $23.  2024 eligible credit for MFJ is $938, actual contribution was $500, tax liability of $1,248, eligible credits to offset 2024 tax liability should be the 2023 carryover of $23 and the 2024 credit a $500 for a total of $523.  I saw instructions to manually enter the 2023 carryover but why didn't the $23 carryover import over?  Was there a question answered incorrectly on the 2023 AZ return or is there a bug in the software?

The credits and carryovers are addressed in the Arizona interview. When you complete the 2024 Arizona interview in TurboTax, review each screen and answer the questions that apply to you. When you get to the screen asking about Other Nonrefundable Credits (see screenshots below), check the box next to "Contributions to qualified charities". On the follow-up screen, check the box indicating that you have a carryover from 2023.

Ah, did not see that or read carefully enough.  I'm curious though why wouldn't the program automatically carry over this information?  You would think it would tell you that you have a carryover amt of $XX, is this correct or something like that.  When I did check the box, I had to enter all the information, i.e., $800 for original credit amount then $777 for previous amt used, which gave me the correct carryover amount.  Anyway, thanks for pointing that out.
