turbo tax added the 50k of ohio lottery winnings to my Indiana state tax and is charging me state tax, but I paid state tax to ohio. shouldn't turbo tax remove the 50k income

As your resident state, Indiana taxes all income regardless of source so you must include it on your Indiana state tax return. However, you will get a credit for the taxes you pay to Ohio so it will not be taxed again.
