Why is the federal adjusted income (and Missouri where I work) showing a different number than the Kansas Adjusted Gross Income (where I live)? It is making TT tell me I cannot have a higher number in federal than Kansas...but it put in this Kansas AGI automatically for Kansas and I cannot change it! I filed Fed and MO by EFile and chose to do Kansas by mail.

Line 1 on your Kansas form K-40 should be the same as your federal adjusted gross income on form 1040, line 11. So, if it is different, you may need to go back through your Kansas return to see if everything was entered correctly.
Yes they are different. But the problem is I didn't enter in anything. Turbo Tax did that from my W2...
Can I still go back thru it in TT? I already chose to "print file" when i was also efilling my federal and missouri returns.
I work in missouri and live in kansas FYI.
If you don't see an option to work on your return when you log in because it has been filed, you can use the Amend your Return option to get back into it.
You don't need to amend your return necessarily, but when you indicate that you want to do that, you will be allowed back into it where you can go over your state tax entries. You may need to contact a TurboTax representative so you can send them a tax file so they can troubleshoot what happened.
You can use the help option on your TurboTax screen to contact an agent.
