2019 Turbo Tax Error On Wages Transferred from Federal to State (NJ)

In Q1 of 2020, I filed my 2019 tax return for Federal and NJ State using Turbo Tax (TT) like what I had been doing for over over 2 decades. I received a notice assessment from the NJ Taxation yesterday that I owe them money for that 2019 tax year in the tune of $6K. The reason: in my NJ filing I was only declaring around $55K of wages on the return when it should have been close to $200K which what is in the Federal tax filing. After looking into it just now, what I found out was that Turbo Tax automatically transferred only $55K from Federal tax filing (don't know where it got that amount) instead of the $200K in the Federal tax return so it affected the tax due amount I owe the state of NJ. In fact, I got a refund that year and instead of paying. My fault is that I didn't pay attention on the $55K wage that was transferred by TT to the NJ State return. Because of this I need to pay it all back, as I should, plus the $900+ of interest and penalties. Shouldn't Turbo Tax/Intuit be blamed for this as well and maybe give me back  a portion of the penalties/interest if not all? I'll appreciate your opinions and comments. My wife said to just go ahead and pay (via installment plan) but I just dont think I can let TT get away with it.
