Hello, i worked for a company last year in Texas (where i live) and i just received a 1099-NEC for that specific employer and their offices are in Georgia, the income in the box is $2425, i’m just confused on whether i need to file this or not, because i never physically worked in GA, i worked and made the money in texas

You do not need to file a GA return, for the reason you stated, you did not physically work in GA.
That income is reportable on your federal return.
You live and work in Texas. The fact that the check or the document was mailed from GA has no bearing. Lots of checks and tax documents are mailed from other states. TX has no state income tax. You just need to enter the 1099NEC on your federal return.
