2021 Tax Refund verses Estimated Tax Payments for 2022

According to the Business program I am getting a $$k refund, but also I will owe $k per quarter estimated tax for 2022.

How can I apply my 2021 refund to my estimated tax for 2022?

Where in the program do I request to apply the refund to the first & second quarter tax payments?

Are you doing a separate Business return in the Business program?  Or a personal return in the Home & Business program?

You can do that in the Other Tax Situations section of TurboTax.   It is under the Additional Tax Payments options, last item - Apply refund to next year.

  1. Open (continue) your return, if you don't already have it open
  2. Inside your return, search for this exact phrase: apply federal refund to next year (copy and paste if needed), and then select the Jump to apply federal refund to next year link in the search results
  3. Follow the instructions on the Apply Refund to 2022 Taxes screen - You can apply your full refund or a portion of it.
