La Schedule E is required to adjust USAF retired pay which is not taxed in Louisiana so why must we contact you every year to have it done?
Please see our 2016 to view a Schedule E from our LA tax return! We have never had to pay Louisiana taxes because of a class action suit years ago regarding the retired pay!

Your state information feeds from the federal input. To enter your retirement pay exclusion, follow these steps:
- Click Personal Info in the white banner.
- Click Edit next to the name of the person who earned the pay.
- Click Yes on the last question (see attached example).
- Click Continue and select Retired.
- Click State in the white banner to ensure the change took effect.
