You will need to use Turbo Tax Self Employed online or Turbo Tax Home and Business desktop to complete your tax return.

All items related to your wife's self-employment income will be entered under the Business Tab located at the top of the screen. Select the Business Tab and then, because this is your first time reporting a business, select walk me through everything. You will start with the Business Income and Expense section.

Your W-2 income will be entered under the Personal Tab. Any retirement income you have will also be reported under the Personal Tab.

You will file a 1040 and it will include a Schedule C for your wife's income.
