How can I enter summary data for about 100 transactions on 1099-B to be followed by mailing the form 8949 since I can't enter Various for Date Sold?

I have nearly 100 transactions for Box A and 50 for Box D on my 8949.  I would enter them manually but can't find where to include wash data.  I would like to do a summary 1099-B for A & D and them mail the 8949.

You can enter totals on your 8949, then mail a copy of your statements within 3 days of filing.

To enter a stock sale in Turbo Tax:

  1. Go to Income

  2. Select I'll choose what I work on.

  3. Go down to Investment Income

  4. Click Start or Update by Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other

  5. Select the broker and choose I'll type it in myself.

  6. On the Tell us about...screen, select I'll enter a summary for each sales category.

You won't have to put the dates of each sale.

Address them to (with Form 8453 as a cover sheet):

Internal Revenue Service

Attn:  Shipping and Receiving 0254

Receipt and Control Branch

Austin, TX 73344-0254

If you're paper filing a 1040, find your state here.
