Why can't I efile? (Retirement/msa plan penalty tax question. Covid 19 retirement withdrawal)

I can't efile with my state (Wisconsin) because I keep getting an error on line 22 of form 1- Penalties on IRAs, Retirement Plans, MSAs etc. Turbotax says the penalty update isn't available yet and to come back later. Does anyone have any idea when this will be ready so I can file?

Yes I too am extremely frustrated and disappointed that this form isn't updated and I already paid to efile both state and federal and cannot even file federal alone, because of this error!  There needs to be a notice to filers that this form isn't ready yet, so you don't pay first and then try to file!! IF not by the end of the week, I am asking for a refund and never using this tool again!  What a joke!

There are no e-file fees when using the TurboTax online editons.  The TurboTax account fees are for the use of the software to assist in completing a tax return.  The fees are the same whether a tax return is e-filed or printed for mailing.

You can e-file the federal tax return without having to e-file the the state tax return.  Just change the way the state tax return is filed in the File section of the program on Step 3.  See screenshots.

Thanks for your feedback.  However, that does not work.  I have already paid in full and because a form isn't working, I can't proceed with anything.  It doesn't even allow me to select mail my form, move forward, just file federal....or anything of the sort.  I have talked to a rep that said my options are to wait for form or do refund.

So, now I am highly disappointed that I have to request a refund!  What a joke!  Other services give way more options in reviewing, etc. before having to pay.
