Why am I not allowed to edit my input on IRA distributions?

All my input is preliminary, however I need to edit certian data. Program will NOT let me.

Why am I not allowed to edit my input on IRA distributions?

The section for entering an IRA distribution on Form 1099-R will not be available until January 11, 2025.

However, if you are using the TurboTax desktop editions then you can click on Forms. When in Forms mode you can enter and edit a form 1099-R.
