Where do you input a 1099-s?

report the relevant transaction exactly as you would have without a 1099-S; don't skip it.

Form 1099-S is used to report proceeds from the sale of real estate or property transactions.  

To enter the 1099-S Form, log back into TurboTax.

1. Select Wages & Income.
2. Scroll down to the section titled Investments and Savings.
3. Select start to the right of Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B).
4. Select the box +Add investments
5. On the "Let's import your tax info" page, select Enter a different way.
6. The next screen is titled "OK, let's start with one investment type".  Select Other (land, second homes, personal items) 1099-S.
7. Proceed to answer the questions as prompted.
