Where do I report charitable contributions made directly to the charities from my IRA to satisfy my RMD. Where can I use a QCD on Turbo Tax form for a standard 1040 ?

Can I use a QCD if I use turbo tax?

Yes, you can use TurboTax to report that you made a Qualified Charitable Distribution.

You enter the Form 1099-R that is reporting the distribution which was the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).  As long as the requirements for QCD have been met, you will see follow-up questions to answer in order to indicate that it was a QCD.

See the following TurboTax help article for more information:

When you enter the 1099R for your IRA distributions, you will have additional pages with questions.  One of the questions is "was any of this distribution for charity?"  Select that option and an additional box will open up for you to list the dollar amount of charity.  That's it.  You will then see the charity on form 1040 line 4b, as compared to line 4a.  Also the letters QCD will print right above like 4b of form 1040.  Hope this helps.
