The Human Resource people at your new job may have a substantial number forms for you to complete.

From a tax point of view the only thing you will need is a W-4. They will have one. This form helps to calculate what you want withheld from your paycheck so that you don't owe taxes at the end of the year.

I had 0 income last year as I was fired after 10 years on the job. I decided to take a year away from working because I deserved it. So no w-2 and no w1090 or whatever
