What can I do to bring forward the taxable amount from a 1099R instead of the entire amount?

I enter the entire amount on box 1 and the taxable amount in box 2, but the box 1 amount comes forward as income.

The distribution amount from box 1 will be included on Form 1040 line 4a, the amount from box 2 should be on line 4b (taxable amount). The whole distribution will show as income on the summary screen which shows gross income, not taxable income.
