I had no problem with my HSA contributions in tax year 2023 but now having issues with HSA contributions for tax year 2024.
In both years, my wife and I were covered under my family HDHP. I contributed the maximum amount in both years ($8,750 in 2023 and $9,300 in 2024 - I'm 63) thru my employer. My wife is 60 and we contributed $1,000 directly into her HSA. This all worked fine last year but TT is saying I have excess contributions of $9,300 this year. When I looked at form 8889-T, it is not showing me as having family HDHP coverage. I assume that is the issue this year. This appears to be a bug within TT.
Has anyone else encountered this yet? I've entered everything correctly and consistent with last year.
Thank you.

You must complete the HSA contributions section to indicate that you and your wife both had family HDHP coverage the entire year (assuming that neither of you had disqualifying coverage such as Medicare).
