Turbo Tax requires Box 7 - Distribution Code for 1099-R form information input, yet my personal 1099-R does not have anything for Box 7. What do I do?

If Box 7 on your 1099-R is empty, you will need to contact the issuer and get a corrected copy. Are you sure there is nothing in box 7 on your Form 1099-R? Is it for 2024? The number 7 is a valid code, so you may see a seven to represent the box number and also 7 could be the code. Code 7 is a normal distribution.

Could it be a 7 the same as the box number? 7 is the most common code.
