Does box 14 have a comma or a decimal point? Since it is $93 leave the cents off the amount.
If that does not help then delete the Form 1099-R and re-enter manually.
It’s probably saying box 14 can’t be more than box 16. For state boxes, if box 16 is empty or zero then for box 16 State Distribution put the same amount that’s in box 1. If box 14 is blank you can leave boxes 14,15 & 16 blank.
Hey! It's the same error still showing up for me. There's nothing in Box 14 and 16 on my 1099r so I'm leaving those but when submitting, 'Box 14a For Electronic filing, New York State and Local withholdings can not be greater than or equal to gross distribution'. I read that this was a Turbotax issue and people put their Gross Distribution (Box 1) for State Distribution (Box 16). What would be the resolution?
@NewYorkTaxer Have you tried deleting the Form 1099-R and then re-entering manually?
Thank you!!! It works- that was driving me crazy. I just had to manually enter the 1099r form and it's accepted
