Tax Year Prior to 2020: If I am under a up to 60 day chosen review .will it take the whole 60 days or is it resolved sometimes sooner ?

Exact thing happen to me today...they told me wait another60 days after she put in a refferal. Sad thing is who do we complain about the irs to?

@farahfast Did u get a letter from the irs. They told me to call the number at the bottom. They can help. They have more authority then just the irs agents. If u don’t have it I can get it to u.  I think the more of us that will help each maybe this stupid thing will stop.

I called the 829 0582 number ext 862 she told me after she put in referral to wait additional 60 days...thats 120 days all together from date of letter but i filed Jan26. Is that the same number you called @msickles2007

IRS Told me that they have until close of business the day it’s up. MT 60 days I guess is today not Monday like I thought. So if tomorrow I have nothing updated I’ll be calling and won’t hang up without answer. The TAS people are a joke. Won’t help unless u are facing financial hardship with court proof. So pretty much when u r about to loose everything u have worked for them the MAY be able to help.
