Can you provide more information as to what is not correct, and details about what you are looking at to determine they are not correct?
When Turbotax shows the bar graph that includes Total Income, Taxable Income, Deductions, Exemptions, and Taxes ---- the bar representing the Taxable income is not even remotely close to the right number. It is showing the Taxable Income to be a very low number of only about 10% of the Total Income, when in reality it was around 80%. This is true for every year in the graph.
I have no idea where it is getting the numbers for the "Taxable Income" --- but they are grossly in error. I compared the graphs to last year's tax program (which is correct), and it is obvious that the 2023 tax year program is pulling the data from a wrong field, and it is wrong for all years in the Tax History graph.
I have the same problem. The Tax History form is correct, but the Graphic Tax History Tool and it associated popups is reported incorrect numbers for all fields except Total Income.
Same issue here. The Tax History in TurboTax 2023 seems to have mostly inaccurate data. I checked back with TurboTax 2022, and it seems to have accurate data.
Examples of the inaccuracies in the TurboTax 2023 Tax History:
- Taxable Income inaccurate for all years (2019-2023). Off by more than 2x.
- Effective Rate appears to indicate Marginal Rate (unlike prior years)
- Refund/Taxes Owed appears to show a refund, despite taxes owned.
Generally seems broken.
I have the same problem with my 2023 TurboTax Premier software. The Tax History forms are WAY off! It makes me suspicious of all the other calculations. Please get this fixed!
