Retirement tax questions
When Turbotax shows the bar graph that includes Total Income, Taxable Income, Deductions, Exemptions, and Taxes ---- the bar representing the Taxable income is not even remotely close to the right number. It is showing the Taxable Income to be a very low number of only about 10% of the Total Income, when in reality it was around 80%. This is true for every year in the graph.
I have no idea where it is getting the numbers for the "Taxable Income" --- but they are grossly in error. I compared the graphs to last year's tax program (which is correct), and it is obvious that the 2023 tax year program is pulling the data from a wrong field, and it is wrong for all years in the Tax History graph.
