How do I correct the tax form that indicates that someone died in 2018? I retired in 2018 but no one died in 2018.

The answer can be corrected on the "Personal wks" form.

To access that, at the top of the page, you will see "File  Edit  View Forms ....".

Select Forms.

The form is listed under Federal 1040 ... "Personal wks". Click on the file and it should open.

There is a question in Part 1 below  "Marital Status", about widows. One of those boxes has been incorrectly checked. Just click it and it should disappear. (If married, check both individual's Personal Wks pages.)
