Taxable Portion of Pension

My 1099-R lists the taxable portion of my pension in the box 2b. This has been entered into TurboTax and was sufficient last year.  This year it insists I enter a bunch of information to calculate it even though it is already entered! I don't have the information to enter either.  It did not work this way last year.  How can I get it to just take the taxable amount entered in 2B? It does not let me skip the manual entry. Very frustrating.

Your IRS form 1099-R reports a taxable amount in box 2a.

In the IRS form 1099-R entry, at the screen Annuity information, select Yes at the question For the years you received these distributions, was the total amount shown in the form the amount you paid tax on?

The taxable amount reported in box 2a will be reported as income on the income tax return.
