When calculating line 3 on the Social Security Benefits Worksheet (2021) it asks you to add the following lines from form 1040: 1, 2a, 2b, 3b, 4b, 5b, 7, and 8.
Turbo Tax calculated to be $71,927, but I calculated it manually from the info on 1040 as $51,927, exactly $20,000 more. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

And on rechecking it for the nth time, I find I made an error manually copying down the details to do my manual check, so...never mind. (Blush. 🙄) And thank you for your time. Sorry to have bothered you.

In TurboTax online Self-employed, I am able to enter Social Security benefits. The Social Security Benefits Worksheet correctly reports line 3 and correctly reports the taxable amount of Social Security tax.
Is there a $20,000 income entry on your tax return? What line is it reported on? Please clarify.
I am busy right now but will supply complete details later today.
Thanks.
