Should I have included my contributions and investment gain for my retirement portfolio in my return?

My contribution was 336.19 and my gain was 3.45

Contributions to retirement accounts are accounted for when you enter your W-2 into TurboTax. So no additional entry is needed.    

Anything that takes place within the Retirement account is NOT reflected on your return.
