Roth withholding credit?

I had money withheld from a tax-free Roth IRA principal withdrawal. I entered 1099-R information in TurboTax Deluxe and it told me I had overpaid taxes on the withdrawal, but the amount paid does not appear to be showing up on my return as a credit paid against taxed owed. How or where do I enter the overpaid Roth withholding so it shows up credited against taxes paid?

If it's on line 64 then it’s being subtracted from the tax on your income.  You don’t always get it all back.

It should only be entered from the 1099R box 4.  Isn’t it included on 1040 line 64 with all your withholding?

Yes, it's there, but I don't know that it's crediting. Let me double-check by nuking it out. brb

Ugh, it was crediting just fine, simply not showing up where I was looking. Thanks for nudging me back in the right direction. TurboTax is ALWAYS just as easy as you think it is, right? 😉
