I've been using TT for years and this is the first time I've been stumped. I'm sure it must be something I've entered but I'm darned if I can figure out what I've done! In the income summary for retirement, it's showing a taxable amount greater than the income amount. We did pay off the balance of the Covid-19 distribution we took and I entered that where asked. We did not get a 1099R for the payback. Unlike other entries, I can't click on the amount to see what it consists of. The only income under retirement we have is my husband's pension, for which we did receive a 1099R and I listed, and my social security. Where is that extra income coming from?
Thanks!
Sharron

To verify, did you spread the contribution over 3 years and entered the repayment when TurboTax asked?
Please be aware, since we cannot see the details of your return we cannot answer where the information comes from.
You might want to check Form 1040 if the retirement income looks accurate there (line 4 for IRA distributions and line 5 for pension).
