Retired in May...new to being retired where do I list this

You do not "list" being retired anywhere--unless you want to use that word for "occupation."

If you received Social Security benefits in 2017 you will soon get a SSA1099;

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security to enter your SSA1099.

If you received income from a pension plan or IRA in 2017, you will receive a 1099R.

Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
