My wife received her first social security payment in December 2019. She was 62 in September 2019 and the Social Security office said she could get a retro payment back to then. We received $2,087.00 on December 29, 2019.
We have not received a 1099 from Social Security about this payment. Do i need to list this as income on my tax form. I am still working.
Your prompt reply is appreciated

It depends on your total income, including your wife's Social Security plus any other income.
You have to report this income on your tax return, and TurboTax will calculate the taxable portion.
Please read this TurboTax Help topic for more information.
