Is anyone getting the error message " Box 14A for electronic filing, New York State withholdings can not be greater or equal to gross distribution or state distribution?"

If you have entered information from Form 1099-R in your Federal return and there is NY taxes withheld in box 14, try entering the same number shown in box 1 in box 16.  You will make this change in your Federal return, not in the NY state return.  Sometimes state withholdings are reported on Form 1099-R when there is no state distribution amount shown on the form and an error can be the result.
