I received an error about not paying enough social security tax. My employer did not defer payment or issue a W2c and I entered the correct amount from my W2. What now?

Where did you receive this error? Was it someplace in TurboTax? If so, where?

Or did you receive a letter from a taxing agency?

I received the message in TurboTax. I believe it came up as part of the audit check review.

TurboTax wanted you to check to make sure that you entered your social security tax amount correctly, since it detected that you may not have paid enough.  It's ok.  Just keep entering the information as it appears on your W-2.  You can always go back to your employer and ask them to make an adjustment so that it doesn't become an issue for tax year 2021.
