Do 457(b) accounts count for qualified retirement savings contribution credit?

Yes, contributions to a 457(b) count as savings contributions for the credit.

Do 457(b) accounts count for qualified retirement savings contribution credit?

Only the elective deferrals or Roth contributions to a governmental 457(b) count.  If the 457(b) is a nongovernmental 457(b), contributions to it do not count for the retirement savings contributions credit.
