Can you clear the retirement savings credit off my form? It's $200.

TurboTax automatically calculates the credit if you qualify based on these criteria:

• Be age 18 or older.
• Not be a full-time student.
• Not be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return.
• Have made your retirement contribution during the tax year for which you are filing your return.
• Meet the income requirements.

I can't remove it, but you can!  The credit is calculated on Form 8880,  Credit for Qualified Retirement Savings Contributions.   You can attempt to delete this form.    If the form reappears, you will need to go back through your personal information and indicate that you are a full-time student so the credit will no longer calculate since that would make you ineligible.  

If the credit is $200, it is probably worth it to claim it, though!
